Consultant Vascular Surgery

Consultant Vascular Surgery is responsible for diagnosing and treating vascular diseases, performing vascular and endovascular procedures, and managing patients with arterial, venous, and circulation-related conditions. The requires M.Ch Vascular Surgery, MS, or MBBS qualification with 3 to 8 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of vascular surgery, endovascular care, surgical management, and patient safety.

Role & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with vascular and circulation-related disorders.
• Conduct OPD consultations for arterial, venous, and vascular conditions.
• Perform vascular and endovascular procedures as per expertise.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative vascular surgery patients.
• Review Doppler, angiography, CT, MRI, and laboratory reports.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, radiology, ICU, OT, nursing, and emergency teams.
• Provide timely care for vascular emergencies and limb-threatening conditions.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, surgery, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, surgical records, and procedure documentation.
• Support diabetic foot, peripheral vascular disease, varicose vein, and vascular trauma care.
• Follow evidence-based surgical protocols and hospital safety standards.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety during procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions when required.
• Support audit, quality, and documentation requirements.
• Deliver safe, precise, and patient-focused vascular surgical care.
