Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing bedside nursing care, patient monitoring, medication administration, clinical assistance, documentation, and compassionate patient support at Nanavati Max Hospital, Mumbai. This requires GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or Post B.Sc Nursing qualification with 0–10 years of experience in nursing care, hospital workflow, patient safety, and clinical coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in assigned wards or clinical units.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, pain, intake-output, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, and emergency care.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, handover records, and patient care documentation.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing incharge, pharmacy, laboratory, billing, and patient care teams.
• Report abnormal vitals, patient deterioration, or clinical concerns to seniors promptly.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, and patient shifting activities.
• Educate patients and relatives on basic care instructions under senior guidance.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety during care.
• Maintain ward supplies, emergency trolley readiness, and nursing equipment as assigned.
• Follow hospital nursing SOPs, medication safety, and patient identification protocols.
• Maintain professional behavior and compassionate communication.
• Deliver safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care.
