Job Description
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, managing product portfolios, and driving brand performance across assigned therapeutic areas. The involves market analysis, product positioning, cross-functional coordination, and execution of marketing plans to achieve business objectives. The candidate will play a key in driving product growth, ensuring market competitiveness, and supporting new product launches.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including launch, growth, maturity, and phase-out stages.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights toentify opportunities.
- Define product positioning, branding, and promotional strategies for assigned products.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, medical, regulatory, and R&D teams for product execution.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
- Monitor product performance, sales trends, and market share regularly.
- Develop and manage promotional materials, brand communication, and marketing content.
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals for brand development.
- Support field force with product training, scientific inputs, and marketing tools.
- Analyze ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize promotional strategies accordingly.
- entify new product opportunities and provide inputs for pipeline development.
- Prepare product forecasts, business plans, and MIS reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and company marketing guidelines.
- Coordinate with external agencies for branding, advertising, and promotional support.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
- Support new product introduction and successful market penetration strategies.
- Conduct periodic review meetings with sales teams to drive product performance.
- Stay updated with pharmaceutical market trends, therapy developments, and industry insights.
