Collection center - Phlebotomist

The Collection Center Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood and other clinical samples from patients at the collection center while ensuring correct patiententification, proper labeling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The involves maintaining infection control practices, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting timely dispatch of samples to the laboratory. The candidate will ensure smooth workflow at the collection center and deliver a high standard of patient service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples and other diagnostic specimens from patients at the collection center.
• Ensure proper patiententification before sample collection to avoid errors.
• Perform venipuncture and other collection techniques safely and efficiently.
• Label all samples accurately with patient details, date, and time of collection.
• Ensure correct handling, storage, and timely dispatch of samples to the laboratory.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during procedures.
