Senior Resident Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Senior Resident in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is responsible for managing high-risk pregnancies, conducting deliveries, and assisting in gynecological surgeries. The involves supervising junior doctors, ensuring maternal and fetal safety, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The candidate must handle emergency obstetric cases, support OPD/IPD services, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage antenatal and postnatal care
• Conduct normal and assisted deliveries
• Handle high-risk pregnancy cases
• Assist in gynecological surgeries
• Provide emergency obstetric care
• Supervise junior residents and interns
• Maintain patient medical records
• Conduct OPD consultations
• Ensure infection control protocols
• Coordinate with NICU team
• Monitor fetal health conditions
• Educate patients on maternal care
• Participate in ward rounds
• Support surgical procedures
