Assistant Professor

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for supporting medical teaching, academic sessions, practical demonstrations, student mentoring, departmental documentation, research assistance, and institutional academic activities at Bhagyoday Hospital / Medical College, Kadi. This is suitable for MD, MS, or DNB qualified doctors in Anatomy and Biochemistry. The candidate will contribute to structured medical education, student learning, and departmental academic development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and practical teaching sessions for medical students.
• Support academic delivery as per approved curriculum and departmental schedule.
• Guide students in subject concepts, practical work, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Assist senior faculty in academic planning, teaching material preparation, and departmental activities.
• Conduct practical sessions, lab demonstrations, specimen study, or biochemical procedure teaching as applicable.
• Maintain student attendance records, academic files, internal assessment records, and teaching logs.
• Participate in seminars, journal clubs, case discussions, workshops, and academic meetings.
• Assist in internal examinations, practical assessments, viva, and evaluation activities.
• Support research projects, publications, presentations, and academic documentation.
• Coordinate with faculty, students, administration, and academic departments for smooth workflow.
• Follow institutional policies, medical education standards, and professional ethics.
• Support student counselling, mentoring, and academic performance improvement.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct in academic activities.
• Contribute to curriculum improvement, academic quality, and department development.
