The Nursing Staff will be responsible for providing bedside patient care, monitoring patient condition, administering medications, assisting doctors, and maintaining nursing documentation. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification, clinical nursing knowledge, compassion, discipline, infection control awareness, and strong patient communication skills. The candidate will support safe, timely, and patient-centered nursing care across assigned hospital departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients in assigned hospital departments.
- Monitor vital signs, patient condition, intake-output, treatment response, and clinical changes.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and nursing procedures as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency care, and patient assessment.
- Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, handover records, and patient documentation.
- Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, admission, transfer, surgery, and discharge.
- Follow infection control, hand hygiene, biomedical waste, and patient safety protocols.
- Communicate patient updates to doctors, senior nurses, and relatives as per hospital policy.
- Maintain cleanliness, equipment readiness, and proper arrangement of nursing stations.
- Support emergency care, basic life support, and rapid response activities when required.
- Educate patients and relatives about medication, diet, care instructions, and follow-up.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and safe handling of patient samples and records.
- Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and administration teams.
- Report abnormal findings, incidents, complaints, or safety concerns to seniors promptly.
- Deliver compassionate, ethical, and professional nursing care at all times.
