Job Description

The Technician - Maintenance will manage hospital maintenance support, electrical maintenance, repair work, safety checks, equipment support, facility maintenance, and utility service readiness at Ankura Hospital, Hyderabad. This requires ITI with 11KV ITI Certificate and 1–2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, hospital equipment, repair, and safety checks.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, switches, lights, wiring, and hospital facility equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities across wards, ICU, OT, OPD, pharmacy, laboratory, and public areas.
  • Respond to maintenance complaints, breakdowns, electrical faults, repair needs, and urgent facility issues.
  • Check power supply, MCB, UPS, generator support systems, earthing, safety switches, and basic utility systems.
  • Coordinate with facility manager, biomedical, housekeeping, nursing, administration, and vendor teams.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, complaint records, repair reports, and material usage documentation.
  • Support safe operation of hospital equipment and facility systems under supervision.
  • Report major faults, repeated breakdowns, spare requirements, or safety risks to seniors promptly.
  • Follow electrical safety, fire safety, infection control, PPE, and hospital maintenance SOPs.
  • Support emergency maintenance needs during power issues, equipment faults, or facility disruptions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety after repair work.
  • Ensure safe, functional, and patient-friendly hospital maintenance support.
