Andro Technician

The Andro Technician will support andrology laboratory work, semen analysis, sample handling, diagnostic testing, lab documentation, equipment care, and fertility laboratory coordination at Ankura Hospital, Hyderabad. This requires B.Sc MLT or B.Sc Life Science with 1–2 years of experience in lab testing, andrology, sample handling, and diagnostics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, label, process, and handle andrology samples as per laboratory SOPs.
• Support semen analysis, fertility-related diagnostic testing, and andrology laboratory workflow.
• Verify patient details, sample collection time, sample quality, test request, and documentation before processing.
• Maintain sample records, test logs, equipment logs, registers, and laboratory documentation.
• Assist in quality control, calibration, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with fertility doctors, embryology team, laboratory staff, nursing, billing, and patient care teams.
• Follow biosafety, PPE, infection control, biomedical waste, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and sensitivity while handling fertility-related samples and reports.
• Report sample rejection, abnormal findings, processing issues, or equipment concerns to seniors promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and readiness of andrology laboratory areas.
• Support timely processing and accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Ensure safe, reliable, ethical, and quality-focused andrology technical support.
