Senior Staff Nurse

The Senior Staff Nurse will supervise nursing care, guide junior nurses, manage patient admission workflow, support ICU / NICU / OT nursing activities, and maintain quality nursing documentation at Fortis, Faridabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing with 1–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise bedside nursing care and ensure safe patient monitoring in assigned clinical area.
• Guide junior nurses on medication safety, documentation, patient communication, and emergency response.
• Monitor patient condition, vitals, pain, intake-output, oxygen support, and clinical progress.
• Coordinate admission, transfer, discharge, shifting, and handover processes.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency management, and patient review.
• Check nursing charts, medication records, consent support, and shift handover quality.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, housekeeping, and patient care teams.
• Ensure infection control, PPE use, biomedical waste, and patient safety practices are followed.
• Report critical changes, staffing issues, or care gaps to nursing in-charge.
• Maintain compassionate, disciplined, and high-quality nursing services.
