Consultant – Anesthesiologist

Asian Insititute of Medical Science is seeking a Consultant – Anesthesiologist to manage anesthesia services for various surgical procedures. The involves pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative care while collaborating closely with surgical and critical care teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assess patient fitness for surgery
• Plan and administer appropriate anesthesia techniques (general, regional, local)
• Monitor patients’ vital parameters during surgical procedures
• Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability throughout procedures
• Provide post-operative care and pain management support
• Handle emergency situations and provide critical care when required
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ICU teams for coordinated patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records and patient status
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training programs
