Experienced Manager – Export Logistics responsible for overseeing international shipment operations, export documentation, freight coordination, and supply chain compliance activities. Skilled in managing logistics partners, customs regulations, inventory movement, and transportation planning to ensure timely and cost-effective global deliveries. Adept at optimizing export processes, minimizing operational risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support seamless international trade operations and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export logistics and international shipment operations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport vendors.
- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of export documentation and regulatory filings.
- Monitor shipment schedules, transit timelines, and delivery performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export policies.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, procurement, and sales teams for shipment planning.
- Optimize freight costs, transportation routes, and logistics efficiency.
- Track inventory movement and ensure smooth dispatch and order fulfillment processes.
- Resolve shipment delays, customs clearance issues, and logistics-related escalations.
- Manage import-export licenses, shipping records, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare operational and performance reports.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline export logistics operations.
- Support risk management and contingency planning for global supply chain disruptions.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and vendors.
- Mentor and guide logistics team members to improve operational efficiency and compliance standards.
