Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse will provide operation theatre nursing support, surgical assistance, sterile field management, patient preparation, and OT documentation at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing with registration and 1–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare OT, surgical instruments, sterile trays, gowns, gloves, and consumables.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by supporting instrument and material handling.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout surgical activities.
• Support patient shifting, positioning, draping, and surgical checklist completion.
• Perform sponge, needle, swab, and instrument counts as per OT protocol.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthesia team, CSSD, pharmacy, and OT staff.
• Maintain OT records, checklist documents, and procedure-related notes.
• Follow infection control, OT safety, sterilization, and biomedical waste protocols.
