Medical Administrator

The Medical Administrator will manage hospital administration, clinical operations coordination, patient care workflow, doctor coordination, department supervision, documentation, and healthcare management activities at Kalinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar. This requires MBBS, BDS, MHA, or MBA in Hospital Management with 3–8 years of experience. There are 2 vacancies for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily hospital administration and medical operational workflow.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, ICU, OT, emergency, OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, and support departments.
• Monitor patient care services, admission flow, discharge process, patient movement, and department functioning.
• Support implementation of hospital SOPs, clinical protocols, patient safety practices, and service standards.
• Handle patient care escalations and coordinate resolution with concerned departments.
• Maintain medical administrative reports, duty records, patient service trackers, and operational documentation.
• Support quality, audit, statutory, and hospital compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with management for manpower planning, department performance, and service improvement.
• Monitor clinical operations, patient satisfaction, and interdepartmental communication.
• Guide teams on documentation, patient communication, and hospital process discipline.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, medical, and hospital information.
• Ensure smooth, ethical, patient-centered, and well-coordinated hospital administration.
