Job Description
Nursing Staff is responsible for providing quality nursing care, ward management, patient monitoring, medication support, clinical documentation, and coordination with doctors and hospital departments. The requires nursing qualification in the respective field with 0 to 1 year of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of patient care, ward management, clinical documentation, infection control, and professional nursing practices.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to admitted and outpatient patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, condition, and treatment response.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, dressings, and prescribed treatments safely.
- Assist doctors during rounds, examinations, procedures, and emergency care.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, patient files, and care records.
- Support ward management, patient movement, admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
- Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, treatment activities, and follow-up care.
- Follow infection control, hygiene, biomedical waste, and patient safety protocols.
- Report patient condition changes or emergency signs to doctors and senior nurses promptly.
- Coordinate with doctors, lab, pharmacy, radiology, billing, and support departments.
- Educate patients and family members about medication, diet, care instructions, and discharge guidance.
- Maintain ward supplies, emergency equipment, and nursing station readiness.
- Ensure proper shift handover with complete patient updates.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information.
- Deliver compassionate, ethical, and patient-focused nursing service.
