MD Chest Respiratory

MD Chest, Respiratory is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with chest diseases, respiratory disorders, pulmonary infections, asthma, COPD, breathing difficulties, and related medical conditions. The requires graduation or post-graduation in the respective medical field with 0 to 1 year of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of respiratory consultation, clinical diagnosis, patient management, treatment planning, and hospital-based medical care.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations for chest and respiratory patients.
• Diagnose and manage asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, TB, and other respiratory conditions.
• Evaluate patients with cough, breathlessness, chest pain, wheezing, and lung-related symptoms.
• Review patient history, clinical findings, and investigation reports.
• Prescribe appropriate medicines, inhalers, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Manage admitted respiratory patients and monitor treatment response.
• Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, nursing, ICU, and emergency teams.
• Support emergency care for acute respiratory distress and critical breathing issues.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes, inhaler use, medication compliance, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, prescriptions, diagnosis records, and treatment documentation.
• Refer patients for advanced care or specialist intervention when required.

• Communicate clearly with patients and attendants regarding diagnosis and treatment.
