Job Description
Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Officer – IPQA to ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements through effective in-process quality assurance activities across the manufacturing facility. The involves conducting plant rounds, reviewing batch documentation, performing sampling activities, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and current regulatory guidelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine plant rounds to monitor manufacturing and packing activities.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and current regulatory requirements.
- Perform review of batch documents including BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record), BCR (Batch Control Record), and BPR (Batch Packaging Record).
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all batch-related documentation.
- Perform finished product sampling as per approved procedures and protocols.
- Conduct equipment cleaning verification and sampling activities.
- Ensure proper line clearance and area clearance before initiation of operations.
- Monitor in-process activities to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Identify and report deviations, non-conformities, or discrepancies during operations.
- Ensure proper documentation practices in line with GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping standards in manufacturing areas.
- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and ensure audit readiness.
- Ensure proper labeling,entification, and status segregation of materials and products.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated with current guidelines and practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and processes.
