SR. EXECUTIVE CIVIL E&M VN

The Sr. Executive – Civil E&M will be responsible for handling building maintenance activities, executing civil and engineering projects, and coordinating with internal departments, consultants, and contractors. The involves planning, monitoring, and ensuring timely execution of projects while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor building maintenance activities and maintain detailed records of all work performed.
• entify and take corrective actions for any building-related abnormalities in coordination with internal teams or external vendors.
• Prepare indents, evaluate vendor proposals, and coordinate with vendors for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with HODs, consultants, and cross-functional teams for ongoing and upcoming civil and engineering projects.
• Collect and compile necessary data, drawings, and documents required for project approvals and budget planning.
• Prepare and review site layouts, equipment layouts, floor plans, and engineering drawings as per project requirements.
• Ensure all layouts and designs comply with user requirements, GMP standards, and statutory regulations.
• Review tender documents, BOQs/BOMs, and provide technical suggestions related to engineering and safety aspects.
• Conduct meetings with contractors to communicate project scope, timelines, safety guidelines, and quality expectations.
• Issue updated drawings, documents, and instructions to contractors for smooth project execution.
• Monitor and ensure that all project activities are executed as per approved designs, timelines, and quality standards.
• Inspect plant facilities including building structure, walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, façade, roads, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Supervise works related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, weather sheds, lifts, hoists, and rainwater harvesting systems.
• Coordinate with user departments to address facility-related observations and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Evaluate multiple solutions for facility improvements and implement the most effective approach.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability at site.
• Ensure adherence to work permit systems and provide safety instructions for all contractor activities.
• Verify measurement sheets, job completion reports, and contractor bills before submission for payment processing.
• Prepare and submit required documentation including WCC, photographs, measurement sheets, and gate passes for finance approvals.
• Coordinate with contractors, stores, and security for material movement, gate entry, unloading, and GRN processes.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control as per approved budgets.
• Maintain all project and maintenance documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, EHS, and GMP guidelines throughout all maintenance and project activities.
• Support audits and inspections by providing necessary engineering and project-related documentation.
• Monitor project timelines,entify risks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Drive continuous improvement in facility management, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
