Plant Operator

The Plant Operator will operate and support OSD packing plant activities, blister packing, bottle primary packing, equipment operation, machine monitoring, documentation, cleaning, and GMP compliance at Zydus Lifesciences, Ahmedabad. This requires ITI, Diploma, or B.Sc qualification with 3–8 years of experience in Packing OSD operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate OSD packing equipment including blister packing and bottle primary packing lines.
• Perform machine setup, operation, changeover, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting as per SOP.
• Verify product details, packing materials, batch information, labels, and line clearance status.
• Monitor machine parameters, packing quality, coding, sealing, labeling, and bottle packing accuracy.
• Maintain equipment logs, batch packing records, cleaning records, and production documentation.
• Report breakdowns, packing defects, abnormal machine sounds, material mismatch, or deviations promptly.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, QA, QC, warehouse, and engineering teams.
• Follow GMP, safety, hygiene, line clearance, and data integrity standards during packing operations.
• Support material reconciliation, area cleaning, and packing line readiness activities.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and safe working practices in the plant area.
• Ensure smooth machine operation and minimum production downtime.
• Support timely, safe, and quality-focused OSD packing output.
