Phlebotomist

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to support pathology services. The involves collecting blood samples, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accuracy in sample handling and documentation. The candidate should be a graduate with good technical and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures before sample collection
• Label and handle samples accurately to avoid errors
• Maintain hygiene and follow infection control protocols
• Coordinate with lab staff for timely processing of samples
• Maintain records of sample collection and patient details
• Handle patient queries and provide basic guidance
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste as per standards
• Assist in overall lab operations and support tasks
