Pharmacist

Job Description:

Zydus Hospitals is seeking for a Pharmacist to manage the pharmacy operations, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure timely and safe dispensing of medications while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring no overstocking or stockouts
• Issue, return, and dispense medicines to patients and hospital departments
• Monitor expiry dates, remove expired products, and coordinate with vendors for returns
• Track and manage new drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances as per regulations
• Receive, verify, and process invoices and goods receipts in the pharmacy system
• Perform physical stock verification and update HMIS/ pharmacy software
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines
• Support customer satisfaction with prompt and accurate medication delivery
• Coordinate with hospital departments for material inwards and outwards
