The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of medical records to support clinical, administrative, and legal requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage patient medical records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Review medical records for completeness and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to collect, file, and retrieve patient information as needed
• Ensure proper coding, indexing, and categorization of medical records for easy access and retrieval
• Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and reports
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Monitor and update record-keeping systems and recommend process improvements
• Assist in generating reports and MIS related to medical records for management
• Provide training or guidance to staff on proper documentation practices
• Stay updated with hospital policies, regulations, and medical record management best practices
