Job Description:

Dr. Jivraj Mehta Smarak Health Foundation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Consultant – Medical Oncology to provide expert care for cancer patients. The ideal candidate will diagnose, manage, and treat various types of cancer while collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and evaluate patients with different types of cancer
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Administer and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Coordinate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive care
• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and hospital protocols
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and tumor boards
• Stay updated with advancements in oncology treatments and research
• Mentor junior doctors and medical staff in oncology practices
• Promote patient safety and quality care standards within the department
