It is so called from the eruption resembling the seed of the milium or millet Fever, accompanied by an eruption of small, red isolated pimples, rarely confluent, but almost always very numerous, slightly raised above the skin, and presenting, at the end of 24 hours, a small vesicle filled with a white transparent fluid, which quickly dries up, and separates in the form of scales
