Sr. Officer

The Sr. Officer – Maintenance will handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities. The involves troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out as per SOPs and cGMP guidelines. The candidate will also focus on improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and utility-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment such as pumps, compressors, reactors, and utility systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and documentation as per SOPs.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, EHS, and safety standards during maintenance activities.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements for efficiency enhancement.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate with procurement for timely ordering.
• Supervise technicians and guide them in maintenance activities.
• Execute calibration and routine inspection of equipment.
• entify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of work areas.
• Assist in plant modification and upgradation projects.
• Follow work permit systems and ensure safe working practices.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability.
