Lab Technician

The Lab Technician will collect and process samples, perform laboratory tests, operate analyzers, maintain QC documentation, and support accurate diagnostic reporting. The requires DMLT or B.Sc MLT qualification, technical accuracy, biosafety awareness, and laboratory discipline.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process blood, urine, and other samples.
• Perform routine hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, and related tests.
• Operate analyzers, microscopes, centrifuges, and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain sample registers, QC records, equipment logs, and test documentation.
• Report critical values, sample issues, and equipment errors to seniors.
• Follow biosafety, PPE, infection control, and biomedical waste standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pathologists, and reporting teams.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable laboratory services.
