Head - Medical Services

Head - Medical Services is responsible for leading medical administration, clinical governance, consultant coordination, medical staff management, NABH compliance, patient safety, and quality-focused medical service delivery. The requires MBBS with Hospital Administration qualification and 4 to 8 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of hospital administration, NABH standards, clinical operations, medical documentation, and patient care governance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead medical services administration across hospital departments.
• Coordinate with consultants, RMOs, nursing, quality, and management teams.
• Monitor clinical operations, patient care standards, and medical workflows.
• Implement medical policies, SOPs, clinical protocols, and documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance with NABH guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Supervise medical staff deployment, duty rosters, and performance coordination.
• Review medical records, clinical audits, incidents, and patient care concerns.
• Support medico-legal documentation, emergency protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate medical committees, clinical meetings, and case review discussions.
• Resolve clinical service issues and patient escalations in coordination with teams.
• Support infection control, quality improvement, and risk management activities.
• Monitor consultant coordination, patient flow, and interdepartmental communication.
• Prepare medical services reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Support training and orientation of medical staff.
• Strengthen ethical, safe, and quality-focused medical service delivery.
