Specialist - Emergency Medicine

The Specialist - Emergency Medicine will manage emergency patient assessment, triage, stabilization, urgent treatment, resuscitation support, and emergency documentation at Aster DM Healthcare, Kannur. This requires MBBS with MD, DNB, or Diploma in Emergency Medicine with 2–7 years of experience in emergency care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage emergency patients immediately on arrival.
• Stabilize trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and medical emergency cases.
• Initiate BLS, ACLS, airway support, oxygen therapy, and emergency protocols when required.
• Monitor vitals, emergency investigations, clinical condition, and treatment response.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, consultants, and nursing teams.
• Maintain emergency records, consent forms, prescriptions, and handover notes.
• Escalate critical cases to consultants and specialists promptly.
• Ensure fast, safe, and protocol-based emergency medical care.
