Production Operator

The Production Operator will operate and support OSD manufacturing machines, including compression and coating equipment, while maintaining production quality, documentation, cleanliness, and GMP compliance at Sun Pharma, Jammu. This requires SSC, HSC, ITI, or Diploma qualification with 1–5 years of production operation experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate OSD manufacturing machines such as compression, coating, and related production equipment.
• Check equipment cleanliness, material availability, batch details, and line clearance before operation.
• Follow production instructions, SOPs, and batch manufacturing record requirements during operations.
• Monitor machine parameters, product quality, output, and in-process production checks.
• Perform basic machine setup, cleaning, changeover, and operational checks as instructed.
• Maintain equipment logs, cleaning records, batch records, and production documentation accurately.
• Report machine breakdown, product defect, process deviation, or safety concern to seniors immediately.
• Coordinate with production supervisor, QA, QC, warehouse, and engineering teams.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, safety, PPE, and manufacturing area discipline.
• Support material reconciliation, yield calculation, and production completion activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working practices in production areas.
• Ensure smooth, safe, and quality-focused machine operation.
