Analyst

The Analyst will support Quality Control activities, including finished goods testing, stability sample analysis, method validation support, laboratory documentation, instrument handling, and GLP / GMP compliance at Sun Pharma, Jammu. This requires M.Sc or B.Pharm qualification with 1–4 years of quality control analysis experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of finished goods, stability samples, and assigned QC samples as per approved specifications.
• Support method validation, analytical testing, sample preparation, and laboratory documentation.
• Handle QC instruments, laboratory equipment, reagents, standards, and analytical procedures as per SOP.
• Prepare worksheets, analytical reports, logbooks, sample records, and QC documentation accurately.
• Verify sample details, batch information, product codes, and test requirements before analysis.
• Follow GLP, GMP, GDP, laboratory safety, data integrity, and quality control standards.
• Support instrument calibration, verification, maintenance, and cleaning activities.
• Report OOS, OOT, abnormal results, instrument issues, or sample-related concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with QA, production, warehouse, packaging, and QC team members.
• Maintain proper labeling, storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals, reagents, and samples.
• Support stability studies, documentation review, and audit readiness activities.
• Ensure accurate, reliable, timely, and compliant quality control testing support.
