X-Ray Technician

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing X-ray imaging procedures, patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, documentation, and radiology workflow support at Shalby Hospitals, Indore. This requires Diploma qualification with 2–3 years of experience in X-ray imaging and diagnostic radiology services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray and assigned radiology procedures.
• Verify patient identity, doctor request, clinical indication, and imaging instructions.
• Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate X-ray images.
• Operate X-ray equipment as per department protocol and safety standards.
• Follow radiation protection, lead shielding, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines.
• Maintain X-ray logs, exposure records, patient details, and procedure documentation.
• Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, OPD, IPD, emergency, and ICU teams.
• Support portable or bedside X-ray services when required.
• Check equipment readiness and report technical issues to seniors promptly.
• Guide patients politely regarding procedure steps and safety instructions.
• Ensure correct image labeling, quality checking, and timely report coordination.
• Support safe, accurate, and patient-friendly X-ray diagnostic services.
