Production Operator - Filling

The Production Operator - Filling will be responsible for operating filling equipment, handling nasal and derma product filling activities, maintaining GMP compliance, and supporting smooth production execution in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This requires knowledge of machine operation, area cleanliness, documentation, safety practices, and process discipline. The candidate will ensure accurate filling operations, timely batch completion, and quality-focused production support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate filling machines and related production equipment as per approved SOPs.
• Perform filling activities for nasal and derma products according to batch instructions.
• Check equipment readiness, line clearance, area cleanliness, and material availability before operations.
• Monitor filling parameters such as fill volume, speed, weight, leakage, sealing, and product appearance.
• Record production data, machine readings, batch details, and operational observations accurately.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, contamination control, and safety practices during all filling activities.
• Handle containers, closures, components, and in-process materials carefully to avoid mix-ups.
• Report machine breakdowns, process deviations, abnormal observations, or product defects to supervisors.
• Support equipment cleaning, area cleaning, changeover, and basic setup activities.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, QA, warehouse, and maintenance teams when required.
• Assist in in-process checks and sample collection as per defined procedures.
• Maintain proper labeling, segregation, and movement of filled products and materials.
• Follow PPE requirements and safe machine operating practices during assigned shifts.
• Minimize wastage, downtime, rejection, and operational errors during production.
• Complete assigned filling targets within planned timelines while maintaining quality standards.
