Job Description
Care Hospitals is seeking an Optometrist to perform detailed eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and assist ophthalmologists in clinical procedures. The involves operating advanced diagnostic equipment, guiding patients on vision care, and maintaining high standards of clinical accuracy.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and interpret diagnostic findings
- Prescribe and fit spectacles, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Perform diagnostic tests including refraction, tonometry, keratometry, and slit lamp examination
- Operate ophthalmic equipment such as auto refractometer and scan biometry devices
- Assist ophthalmologists in procedures and minor clinical interventions
- Guide patients on vision care, lens usage, and follow-up requirements
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ophthalmic instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records and support smooth clinical workflow
