Job Description
The Executives (Production) will oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensure proper functioning of equipment, and maintain compliance with cGMP guidelines. This requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a regulated production environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean, and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment as per SOPs.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Maintain logs and records for manufacturing activities and equipment usage.
- Minimize equipment breakdowns through preventive maintenance and timely reporting.
- Coordinate with QA and Engineering teams for calibration, validation, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise manufacturing areas to maintain hygiene, discipline, and compliance.
- Support technology transfer activities from R&D to production with proper documentation.
- Handle batch manufacturing processes and ensure completion as per schedule.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practices in production areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist in handling deviations, incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams for material availability.
- Participate in validation and qualification activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
- Train and guide junior staff on SOPs and operational procedures.
- Monitor and control wastage and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Maintain professionalism and teamwork within the department.
- Contribute to achieving production efficiency and organizational goals.
