Job Description
Detail-oriented Senior Officer – Quality Control responsible for performing quality testing, analytical evaluations, laboratory operations, and compliance activities within regulated manufacturing environments. Skilled in handling analytical instruments, reviewing test results, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to GMP and quality standards. Adept at supporting product quality assurance, stability studies, investigation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, and dissolution systems.
- Review analytical data, test results, and laboratory documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, data integrity, and laboratory safety standards.
- Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and reference standards as per procedures.
- Conduct calibration, qualification, and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support investigation of out-of-specification results, deviations, and laboratory incidents.
- Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams for quality-related activities.
- Maintain laboratory records, logbooks, and analytical reports accurately.
- Participate in stability studies and sample management activities.
- Assist in method verification, validation, and transfer activities when required.
- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and ensure proper handling of chemicals and consumables.
- Follow SOPs, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements during all laboratory operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and quality standards.
