CSSD Technician

The CSSD Technician will be responsible for cleaning, packing, sterilization, storage, and dispatch of surgical instruments and sterile supplies at Cloudnine Hospital, Delhi. This requires CSSD Technician Course or Diploma qualification with 1–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, clean, disinfect, pack, sterilize, store, and dispatch instruments.
• Prepare sterile sets, linen packs, trays, OT materials, and procedure supplies.
• Operate autoclave and sterilization equipment as per SOP.
• Maintain sterilization logs, autoclave records, biological indicators, and CSSD documentation.
• Check instrument count, condition, labeling, packing, and traceability before dispatch.
• Coordinate with OT, NICU, wards, nursing, infection control, and biomedical teams.
• Follow PPE, infection control, biomedical waste, and sterile handling protocols.
• Report damaged instruments, sterilization failure, or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, workflow discipline, and safety in CSSD area.
• Ensure timely and safe sterile supply support.
