Associate Consultant - Neurosurgery

The Associate Consultant - Neurosurgery will support neurosurgical OPD, IPD, emergency care, surgical planning, OT assistance, post-operative care, and clinical documentation at Max Healthcare, Delhi. This requires MBBS, MS, and MCh Neurosurgery with 0–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate neurosurgery patients in OPD, emergency, ICU, and ward settings.
• Assist in neurosurgical procedures, operative planning, and post-operative care.
• Monitor neurological status, imaging findings, vitals, and recovery progress.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, OT, ICU, radiology, nursing, and rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain operative notes, progress records, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
• Respond to neuro emergencies including trauma, stroke complications, and raised ICP.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up under senior guidance.
• Follow neurosurgery protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
