Senior Resident - Respiratory Medicine

The Senior Resident - Respiratory Medicine will support pulmonary patient care, OPD/IPD management, emergency respiratory support, diagnostics review, and consultant coordination at Max Healthcare, Delhi. This requires MD Pulmonology or DNB Pulmonology with 0–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with asthma, COPD, pneumonia, TB, ILD, sleep, and respiratory emergencies.
• Assist consultants in treatment planning, bronchoscopy support, and inpatient care.
• Review PFT, ABG, X-ray, CT chest, lab reports, and clinical progress.
• Manage oxygen therapy, NIV support, and respiratory monitoring under guidance.
• Maintain progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
• Coordinate with ICU, radiology, nursing, laboratory, and physiotherapy teams.
• Counsel patients about disease, inhaler use, lifestyle, and follow-up.
• Follow respiratory care, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
