Cashier

The Cashier will be responsible for cash collection, billing payment support, receipt generation, payment reconciliation, patient financial communication, and daily cash reporting at Royal Care Hospitals, Coimbatore. This requires B.Com, BBA, or any graduate qualification with accounting and computer proficiency and 1–2 years of experience in cashiering, billing, or accounts support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect cash, card, UPI, online, and other approved payments from patients or attendants.
• Generate receipts and verify payment details accurately.
• Coordinate with billing, accounts, front office, pharmacy, and discharge desk teams.
• Maintain daily cash register, receipt records, payment summaries, and collection reports.
• Explain basic payment details, deposits, dues, and refunds to patients politely.
• Reconcile daily collections with billing entries and submit reports to accounts.
• Handle cash safely and follow hospital financial control procedures.
• Report payment mismatch, refund issue, or billing discrepancy to seniors promptly.
• Support OPD, IPD, emergency, pharmacy, or service payment counters as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Use billing software, POS machines, and computer systems efficiently.
• Ensure accurate, transparent, and patient-friendly cashier service.
