Roles & Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiological procedures.
- Prepare accurate and timely radiology reports for physicians and healthcare teams.
- Evaluate patient medical histories and clinical information relevant to imaging procedures.
- Coordinate with referring doctors regarding imaging findings and diagnostic recommendations.
- Supervise and guide radiology technicians and imaging staff during procedures.
- Ensure proper imaging protocols and quality standards are maintained.
- Perform and oversee specialized imaging procedures when required.
- Monitor patient safety and ensure radiation protection guidelines are followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of radiological examinations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case review meetings.
- Support emergency and critical care imaging services when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, radiology standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and diagnostic information.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology, imaging technologies, and diagnostic techniques.
- Participate in quality assurance programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior doctors, technicians, and healthcare staff.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth patient workflow and imaging services.
