Registrar - Pediatrics

The Registrar - Pediatrics will support pediatric patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment monitoring, emergency care, consultant coordination, and clinical documentation at Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru. This requires MBBS with DNB / MD Pediatrics qualification and 0–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients in OPD, IPD, emergency, NICU, or ward areas.
• Take history, perform clinical examination, and support pediatric treatment planning.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, and discharge planning.
• Monitor vitals, growth parameters, reports, treatment response, and patient progress.
• Counsel parents regarding treatment, medicines, follow-up, and care instructions.
• Maintain pediatric case records, progress notes, prescriptions, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, ICU, and emergency teams.
• Follow pediatric safety, infection control, and clinical documentation standards.
