ICU Nurse

The ICU Nurse will provide critical care nursing, patient monitoring, medication administration, ventilator care support, documentation, and emergency response at Ramakrishna Multispeciality Hospital, Barasat. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 1–2 years of ICU experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor ICU patients vitals, consciousness, oxygen status, intake-output, and clinical condition.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed ICU nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency care, and critical interventions.
• Support ventilator care, central line care, catheter care, and critical monitoring under guidance.
• Maintain ICU nursing notes, medication charts, fluid charts, and handover records.
• Report abnormal vitals, deterioration, or emergency concerns to doctors promptly.
• Follow infection control, PPE, hand hygiene, biomedical waste, and ICU safety protocols.
• Maintain emergency trolley, equipment readiness, and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and billing teams.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality ICU nursing care.
