Job Description
Medkart is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing of medicines and deliver excellent patient care. Theeal candidate will be responsible for handling prescriptions, guiding customers, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accurate dispensing of medicines.
- Provide guidance to customers on dosage, usage, and precautions.
- Suggest suitable alternative brands with the same composition when required.
- Handle over-the-counter (OTC) medicine sales and respond to customer queries.
- Maintain proper arrangement and storage of medicines in the pharmacy.
- Monitor and manage expiry stock to minimize losses.
- Perform billing using pharmacy software and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain records as per regulatory and organizational requirements.
