Production Officer

The Production Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring timely achievement of production targets while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance. The involves supervising manpower, maintaining documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to GMP and SOP guidelines. The candidate will contribute to operational efficiency, process improvement, and smooth production operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute daily production activities as per approved production schedules.
• Ensure manufacturing operations comply with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes to achieve productivity, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, warehouse, and maintenance departments for smooth operations.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
• Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
• Ensure line clearance and readiness of production areas before initiating operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Minimize downtime, material wastage, and production deviations through effective monitoring.
• Handle production troubleshooting and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Support process validation, qualification, and technology transfer activities.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and production areas.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
• Train and guide operators and production staff on SOPs and operational procedures.
• Prepare production reports, shift summaries, and MIS documentation for management review.
• Coordinate inventory and material availability for uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain discipline and operational efficiency within the production department.
• Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
