Job Description

The Officer – Store will be responsible for handling receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory management of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and consumables. The involves maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring compliance with storage procedures, and coordinating with various departments for smooth material movement. The candidate will ensure proper documentation, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards within store operations.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of materials as per company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Perform material inward and outward activities with proper documentation.
  • Verify material quantities and quality during receipt and dispatch.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for inventory management.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, QA, and logistics teams for material movement.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.
  • Ensure proper labeling andentification of stored materials.
  • Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, and MIS documentation.
  • Handle dispatch documentation and coordinate shipment activities.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and minimize material wastage or loss.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety standards.
  • Support audits and provide necessary inventory-related documentation.
  • Maintain records of rejected, expired, and damaged materials.
  • Operate inventory management systems and update stock transactions timely.
  • Ensure proper preservation and environmental conditions for stored materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and transport teams for smooth logistics operations.
  • Stay updated with inventory management best practices and warehouse procedures.
