Registered Nurse –Ward

HCG Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage ward-based patient care, ensure accurate documentation, and support treatment plans under the guidance of doctors. The involves continuous patient monitoring, coordination with healthcare teams, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessment, monitoring, and implementation of treatment plans
• Administer medications safely and accurately as per prescribed guidelines
• Monitor patient vital signs, condition, and report any changes to the medical team
• Assist doctors during rounds and support clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and ensure proper handover during shifts
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment, medication, and post-discharge care
• Manage ward inventory, consumables, and ensure availability of required supplies
• Handle admissions, discharges, and coordinate patient care activities efficiently
• Respond to emergencies and follow hospital protocols for critical situations
