Manager- Projects

The Manager – Projects will independently handle project execution for chemistry/biology laboratories, kilo labs, and pilot-scale manufacturing units, including utilities. This requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to deliver projects within defined timelines, budget, and quality standards while ensuring cGMP compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Independently lead multiple projects from concept to commissioning, qualification, and handover.
• Manage projects for chemistry/biology labs, kilo labs, pilot-scale manufacturing, and utility systems.
• Ensure project delivery within defined parameters of time, cost, quality, and safety.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prepare concept notes, and develop project designs.
• Handle basic and detailed engineering design, including layout and system planning.
• Ensure incorporation of cGMP and safety requirements in project design and execution.
• Possess strong knowledge of containment philosophy and its implementation.
• Prepare project documentation including LOD, schedules, and execution plans.
• Oversee mechanical project execution, particularly at Noida/Greater Noida facilities.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical technical clearances and approvals.
• Manage vendorentification, technical evaluation, and selection processes.
• Coordinate with procurement/SCM teams for timely order placement and material availability.
• Prepare and review Bill of Materials (BOM) for project requirements.
• Monitor site execution activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Approve technical drawings, layouts, and vendor submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety norms, and company policies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, production, and engineering.
• Manage contractors and ensure quality of work and adherence to safety protocols.
• Track project progress and prepare reports for management review.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all project activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes.
• Maintain strong communication and stakeholder management throughout project lifecycle.
• Contribute to successful delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical infrastructure projects.
