Phaco and Refractive Surgeon -Ophthalmologist

The Phaco and Refractive Surgeon - Ophthalmologist will provide advanced ophthalmic consultation, cataract surgery, phacoemulsification, refractive procedure support, patient evaluation, and clinical documentation at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. This requires MS / DNB Ophthalmology with Fellowship in Phaco & Refractive Surgery and 2–7 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Examine patients with cataract, refractive errors, and other ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform phacoemulsification, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery-related clinical care as per expertise.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, consent discussion, and post-operative review.
• Interpret ophthalmic investigations and advise appropriate treatment plans.
• Coordinate with optometry, OT, counselling, nursing, diagnostics, and patient care teams.
• Manage surgical complications, follow-up care, and clinical escalation professionally.
• Maintain accurate consultation notes, surgical records, prescriptions, and discharge documentation.
• Deliver ethical, safe, and high-quality ophthalmology care.
