IT Technician

Radiant Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to manage and support the hospital’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining systems, and providing timely IT support to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Provide technical support to hospital staff for IT-related issues and queries.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper functioning of hospital management systems (HMS/EMR).
• Monitor and maintain network systems including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, system access, and security permissions.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and data recovery operations.
• Ensure data security, confidentiality, and compliance with IT policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other peripherals.
• Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance.
• Monitor server performance and ensure uptime of critical systems.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain IT inventory including hardware, software licenses, and accessories.
• Document IT processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
• Ensure antivirus, firewall, and cybersecurity measures are up to date.
• Support audio-visual and conferencing systems within the hospital.
• Assist in training staff on IT systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergency IT issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks.
