Senior Resident - Dental

The Senior Resident - Dental will support dental OPD, clinical procedures, patient counselling, student teaching, treatment planning, and documentation at ESIC Medical College Hospital, Surat. This requires BDS / MDS in the relevant specialty with 5–8 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with dental pain, cavities, gum disease, oral infections, and oral health issues.
• Assist consultants in dental procedures, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Support clinical teaching, practical demonstrations, and student guidance.
• Maintain dental case notes, procedure records, prescriptions, and academic files.
• Follow sterilization, infection control, biomedical waste, and dental safety protocols.
• Counsel patients regarding oral hygiene, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
• Participate in seminars, outreach activities, research, and academic assessments.
• Ensure safe, ethical, and patient-friendly dental care support.
